We use the details you submit to respond to your inquiry, prepare travel proposals and arrange a consultation if requested. Your inquiry is stored in our website’s hosted database, operated through ChatGPT Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. Access to the inquiry inbox is restricted to the authorized website owner.

Inquiries and internal notes are automatically removed after 12 months when the system next processes inquiries. Items moved to trash can be restored for up to 30 days, within that 12-month limit, and are then removed. The owner can download exports for backup and follow-up. Downloaded copies and email correspondence are managed separately and should be deleted when no longer needed.

To reduce automated spam, we use a short-lived quick-check token, a hidden spam field and submission limits. Where the hosting service provides a connection IP address, a daily hash is used for rate limiting; raw IP addresses are not saved in the inquiry database. Rate-limit records expire within 24 hours and are removed the next time cleanup runs. Quick-check records are removed within 24 hours after they expire when the service next runs cleanup.

We do not add you to marketing lists through this form. Please do not include passport details, payment information or detailed medical information. Email reservation@theegyptologist.com to request access, correction or deletion of your inquiry. Independent communication providers, including WhatsApp and email services, have their own privacy policies. Email notifications from this website are not currently enabled; our team checks the private inbox.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand public page visits, successful trip inquiry submissions and clicks to WhatsApp. Analytics is off until you select Accept analytics. Rejecting it does not affect inquiries, WhatsApp or other website features.

When enabled, Google receives a public page path, an event name, browser and device information and cookie identifiers. Your connection also exposes your IP address to Google during transmission; GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Google may process information outside your country under its own safeguards. We do not send your name, email, phone number, travel answers, free-text messages, inquiry reference or WhatsApp message contents. URL queries, fragments and incoming referrers are excluded. Management and password pages are excluded.

Advertising features, Google Signals and user-provided data collection are disabled in our tag. Google runs in a separate, form-free frame. Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are limited by our configuration to 13 months without renewal on each visit. Your accept or reject preference is stored on this device for six months. Essential security and dashboard cookies remain separate.

You can change your choice at any time using Analytics settings in the footer or below. Withdrawal stops analytics and removes the analytics cookies accessible to this site; it does not erase data already processed by Google.
